The main factor in the longevity of any pool surface is the water chemistry. Water chemistry can effect the warranty. We recommend chemistry levels of:

Ph – 7.4 Alkalinity - 90 to 100 ppm.
Calcium Hardness – 200 to 400 ppm.

PLASTER

Plaster consists of 40% portland cement and 60% sand/crushed marble. This is a very porous product which allows for the pool surface to breakdown tremendously in aggressive water.

Plaster carries a one (1) year limited warranty. Color and/or quartz can be added to plaster. Color is not warranted or guaranteed. Color will vary throughout the pool surface.

MAX PLUS

Max Plus is a product that is plaster based with a pozzolan additive. The pozzolan extends the life of the pool surface material by increasing durability. Max Plus carries a five (5) year limited warranty. You can find more information on this additive by searching ‘metamax’ at www.engelhard.com

AGGREGATE SURFACE MATERIALS PEBBLE FINISHES

We feature River Rok products. These products are a mixture of pebbles with color, and portland cement. The pebbles are exposed giving a rougher finish. These products are more durable than plaster. Quartz Finishes

Hydraquartz

Hydraquartz is our own specially formulated premium pool surface material. It consists of portland cement enhanced with a pozzolon additive and pulverized quartz. This product can be left white or you can choose one of our custom colors.

Hawaiian

Pacific

 

You can also choose to add color coated quartz to enhance the surface. This product carries a ten (10) year limited warranty on materials and labor.

Diamond Brite

This product is a mixture of porland cement, marble dust, quartz and color. This product carries a ten (10) year limited warranty. More information can be obtained at www.sgm.cc/html/swim/pool.html
